Astronomia is a unique High Street astronomy centre, stocking telescopes, binoculars, books and accessories for astronomers throughout South East England. The store is located in Dorking, Surrey and is an authorised dealer for Meade, Celestron, Sky-Watcher, Orion Optics UK, AstroTrac and Manfrotto. The company is owned by Neil Phillipson who studied Physics with Space Science and Systems at the University of Kent at Canterbury. Neil started Astronomia in April 2008 and is a keen astronomer.

Astronomia stocks a wide range of refractor, reflector and catadioptric telescopes, suitable for lunar and planetary observation, star clusters and nebulae, as well as deep space objects. Apochromatic refractors from Sky-Watcher and William Optics contain fully colour-corrected ED lenses resulting in highly accurate views of larger and fainter objects, and Meade and Celestron Maksutov-Cassegrain and Schmidt-Cassegrain instruments are versatile all-round scopes with plenty of focal length. Orion Optics reflectors complete the range with particular emphasis on astrophotography.
